NEWS📢 The NZ Defence Force's Seasprite maritime helicopters will be replaced in an estimated $2 billion spend from the Government’s $12 billion of planned commitments over four years, outlined in the recently released Defence Capability Plan.
We’ve operated the Seasprite in three variants since 1998. Our eight current SH2-G(I) helicopters have been with us since 2015, with tasks ranging from anti-surface warfare, maritime patrols and surveillance, as well as Government taskings for Department of Conservation and Ministry for Primary Industries.
