Wenn man 1 bis 2 C390 in Österreich mit MAFFS einsetzt, können alle Flughafenfeuerwehren der Flughäfen auf denen in Ö die C390 landen kann gemeinsam mit ihren kommunalen Nachbarwehren die entsprechende Löschwasserversorgung (11.000 pro Turn) HEUTE sicherstellen.
Da stehen zusätzlich zu den Flughafen- oder Fliegerhorstfeuerwehren genug Großtanklöschfahrzeuge als Pufferspeicher in der nähe der Flughäfen herum um Löschwasser in kürzester Zeit an die C390 zu übergeben.

z.b Hörsching : FF Wels 10.000l Gtlf, FF Traun 9.000l Gtlf, FF st.Valentin 11.000l Gtlf, BF Linz 10.000l Gtlf. von den Werkfeuerwehren im Grossraum Linz spreche ich gar nicht....

das gleiche gilt für Wien , Graz, Ibk , Salzburg , in Klagenfurt naja hat ja Vorlaufzeit um wen aus Stmk hinzuschicken;-)

The Dutch KC-390s, to be based at an air base in Eindhoven, will be able to be refueled and tank other aircraft, with an eye on special operations helicopters. The Austrian aircraft can be refueled, but not tank other aircraft, the program official said.

Talks with Austria about potentially providing the country with a bridging solution to the C-390 remain underway. Vienna is struggling with its aging C-130s and has shown interest in taking C-390 test aircraft as an interim solution.

Also jede Hydrantenzuleitung muss mindestens 800l/min liefern können. Ist unwahrscheinlich daas die Flieger alle 14min die Ladung brauchen und keine weitere Zuleitung möglich ist.

Bin schon gespannt was in den Anschaffungskosten von 1 Mrd. Euro alles inkl. ist. Portugal zahlte vor 5 Jahren 920 Mio USD für 5 Stk. wo u.a. schon ein Simulator dabei war.

Kosten die 4 Flieger denn tatsächlich eine Milliarde? Oder sind da notwendige Baumaßnahmen oder ähnliches mit eingerechnet?

Steht doch alles in der Presseaussendung:
