Darunter auch die Entwicklung des Technologiedemonstrators einer mittleren fernbedienbaren Waffenstation "Midgard TMB". Diese soll in das JLTV 4x4, den Valuk 6x6 (Pandur I) oder die Plattform VEPKOV (Die Beschreibung für eine Weiterentwicklung dieses Systems auf das höchste TRL, inkl. Schwarmfähigkeit, steht ebenfalls in diesem Dokument. VEPKOV steht für Večnamenska platforma brez posadke na kolesni hibridni pogon, ein unbemanntes Radfahrzeug mit Hybridantrieb - Foto unten.) integrierbar sein. Vorgesehene Waffen sind die Northrop Grumman M230LF (30 x 113 mm), Dillon Aero M134D (7,62 × 51 mm) oder die Granatmaschinenwaffe Heckler & Koch GMG. Die Station soll außerdem über einen elektrooptische Sensor und ein AESA-Radar verfügen.

We presented the VEPKOV 6×6 multipurpose UGV platform at the Presentation of the Achievements of the Two Pillars of the National Security System of the Republic of Slovenia at Congress Centre Brdo.
The diesel-electric hybrid 6×6 platform delivers up to 3,000 kg payload, high off-road mobility, and silent electric-only operation.
The UGV can be used with different modules, covering logistics, weapons, and C-UAV mission modules, featuring Loki 12.7 and MANGART 25 weapons station from Valhalla Turrets Turrets, and a digital twin, trainer, and simulator developed with Guardiaris.
The 6x6 UGV multipurpose platform has undergone extensive testing in Follow-Soldier Mode, developed and integrated with our partner Guardiaris.
Close-proximity human–machine testing requires discipline and confidence in the system. Credit to the evaluation team for executing it with precision.
In six days, the system will be tested again and evaluated as a complete platform.
In Follow-Soldier Mode, the vehicle tracks a designated soldier within visual range, maintaining walking speed and a defined safety distance. The operator — either from a remote control center (up to 500 m) or a local control unit — selects the soldier via the control interface before activation.
The vehicle continuously adjusts pace and distance automatically, remaining within defined operational limits.

That's the challenge behind CORNUS (6x6 UGV) swarm, developed through the ROJVEPKOV 2.0 project by Guardiaris, RTC and Pareto AI, building Slovenia's next-generation swarm capability: not just an unmanned ground vehicle, but a swarm capable of operating with the precision and readiness modern battlefields demand. This week, that challenge reached a decisive milestone. The consortium completed Phase 3 of the development project, culminating in a Critical Design Review that confirms the engineering behind a coordinated, three-vehicle system, backed by the Slovenian Ministry of Defence.
RTC builds the body: the CORNUS (6x6 UGV) platform itself. Guardiaris builds the brain: the sensor suite and onboard intelligence engineered for resilience in the field, and the digital twin simulator that trains operators to command a vehicle before it ever reaches the ground. Pareto AI's technology is what makes the swarm possible, the intelligence that lets three vehicles think and move as one.
Phase 4 now begins: uncompromising testing, sensor validation on a smaller platform ahead of full integration, and the build of the first technological model.
