Slowakei beschafft gepanzerte Fahrzeuge

Bei der Erprobung des Sanitätsfahrzeugs Patria AMV XP (BOV 8x8 AMB) zwischen Mai und August 2024 (13. 5. 2024 - 20. 6. 2024; 29. 7. 2024 - 28. 8. 2024) wurden gravierende Mängel festgestellt (Berichte „Správa z kontrolných skúšok bojového obrneného vozidla 8x8 vo variante zdravotné (BOV 8x8 AMB)“ und „Správa z kontrolných skúšok bojového obrneného vozidla 8x8 vo variante zdravotné (BOV 8x8 AMB)“"). Insbesondere das Fahrersichtsystem und das Führungsinformationssystem (KIS) sind unbefriedigend. Weitere Tests waren für März und April 2025 geplant.

Bei drei Versuchsschießen (Statisches Fahrzeug vs. statisches Ziel; Bewegtes Fahrzeug vs. statisches Ziel) mit der Waffenstation TURRA 30 (30 mm-Kanone GTS-30/N, 7,62 mm-MG FN MAG) waren die Ergebnisse mit der Maschinenkanone ebenfalls unzureichend, während das Maschinengewehr die geforderte Leistung erbracht hat. Deshalb wurden Modifikationen an der Lafette der GTS-30/N vorgenommen und der Turm TURRA 30 komplett modifiziert, um das Gewicht des BOV 8x8 zu reduzieren. In der zweiten Jahreshälfte wurde die für das BOV 8x8 IFV und das BOV 8x8 C2 vorgesehene Munition 30x173 ZVS (API-T, TP-T, HE-I) getestet.

Für Februar 2025 war eine Erprobung der von Virtual Reality Media, a.s. zu liefernden Simulatoren geplant.

Das slowakische Verteidigungsministerium evaluiert derzeit den CV90120 und einen leichten Panzer aus türkischer Produktion. Diese seien ca. 30 - 40 % günstiger als schwere Kampfpanzer und werden voraussichtlich in drei bis vier Jahren eingeführt:

The first CV90 MkIV vehicles are now a reality!

A key chapter of one of the most ambitious modernization projects of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic is currently unfolding in Sweden. The first CV90 MkIV infantry fighting vehicles, in whose production our company is also involved, have entered a demanding testing phase.

These are not tests focused solely on driving performance or live-fire trials. The testing program also includes command, control and communication systems, cooperation with the Slovak defense industry, as well as the vehicles’ readiness for future upgrades.

Slovakia considers procuring CV90120

Slovakia is considering co-operating with BAE Systems Hägglunds on the Swedish company's CV90120 armoured vehicle armed with a 120 mm gun, Slovak Defence Minister Robert Kaliňák said during the roll-out ceremony for his country's first CV90 Mk IV infantry fighting vehicle in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, on 20 February. The CV90120 is being considered based on lessons learned from the war in Ukraine and the CV90's suitability for the hilly terrain of eastern Slovakia, according to Kaliňák.

He told Janes that the CV90120 would complement, rather than replace, Slovakia's T-72 and Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks (MBTs) if a decision is made in favour of the Swedish vehicle, which he expected to be taken in the next 12 months. BAE Systems Hägglunds managing director Tommy Gustafsson-Rask told Janes that Slovakia had made a request for information on the CV90120, with a meeting after the Slovak CV90 Mk IV roll-out to discuss the subject.

Weighing up to 38 tonnes, the CV90120 is armed with the Rheinmetall L44A1 high pressure low recoil barrel with a super fast autoloader that can fire all standard NATO 120 mm smoothbore ammunition, including the German company's DM11 three-mode programmable high-explosive and enhanced kinetic energy rounds. The vehicle is also armed with anti-tank guided missiles in bore with a range of 10,000 m and a 7.62 mm remote weapon station, according to BAE Systems.

Výročná správa 2025

BOV 8x8 - Účasť na rokovaní projektového tímu, Kontrolné skúšky nových BOV 8x8

V priebehu roka 2025 boli zo strany projektového manažéra zvolávané pravidelné rokovania so zástupcami firmy Patria a členmi projektového tímu. Rokovania sa týkali všetkých typov BOV 8x8, čiže AMB, IFV, C2 a simulátorov.

BOV 8x8 AMB: V priebehu roka sa VTSÚ Záhorie podieľal na kontrole a úprave technických podmienok pre BOV 8x8 AMB, ktoré boli následne po pripomienkovom konaní od jednotlivých zúčastnených strán schválené. BOV 8x8 AMB boli v roku 2025 odovzdané do užívania OS SR.

BOV 8x8 IFV: Začiatkom roka boli vo VTSÚ Záhorie vykonané Podnikové strelecké skúšky kanóna GTS-30/N, ktorý bol upevnený na lafetu za účelom porovnania presnosti streľby rôznymi typmi munície. Výsledky boli vyhovujúce. Následne boli vykonané skúšky vežového kompletu TURRA 30 nainštalovaného na BOV 8x8 IFV s 30 mm kanónom GTS-30/N. Streľba bola vykonávaná v režime statické vozidlo - statický terč, pohybujúce sa vozidlo - statický terč a statické vozidlo - pohybujúci sa terč streľbou jednotlivými výstrelmi. Z týchto podnikových skúšok vydala firma Konštrukta - Defence, a s. Dubnica nad Váhom správu. Do konca roku 2025 neboli vykonané už žiadne skúšky vo VTSÚ Záhorie a taktiež neboli zadané žiadne ďalšie požiadavky na streľbu alebo iné aktivity v nadväznosti na rok 2026. Termín pre vykonanie kontrolných skúšok nebol do konca roka 2025 známy. Na základe informácií od výrobcu prebieha TOO na vežovom komplete.

BOV 8x8 IFV Simulátor: Začiatkom roka 2025 boli vykonané Podnikové skúšky na simulátoroch BOV 8x8 IFV. Po úspešnom vykonaní podnikových skúšok boli v termíne 19.-30.5.2025 vykonané Kontrolné skúšky taktického simulátora BOV 8x8. Po vyhodnotení skúšok bola spracovaná záverečná správa. Kontrolné skúšky boli vykonávané v priestoroch Virtual Reality Media, a.s. Trenčín. Po vykonaní kontrolných skúšok bol simulátor odovzdaný do užívateľských skúšok. Momentálne sú simulátory odovzdané do užívania OS SR.

Der BOV 8x8 AMB wurde angepasst und nach einem Stellungnahmeverfahren 2025 an die slowakische Armee übergeben. Für den BOV 8x8 IFV wurden Anfang 2025 Schießtests mit der Maschinenkanone GTS-30/N des am Basisfahrzeug montierten Turms TURRA 30 durchgeführt (Statisches Fahrzeug - statisches Ziel; bewegtes Fahrzeug - statisches Ziel; bewegtes Fahrzeug - bewegtes Ziel; jedes Mal mit Einzelschüssen). Konštrukta - Defence, a s. hat dazu einen Bericht eingereicht. Bis Ende 2025 wurden keine weiteren Erprobungen durchgeführt. Laut dem Hersteller laufen hinsichtlich des Turms "technische und organisatorische Maßnahmen" (TOO ... Technicko-organizačné opatrenia).

Anfang 2025 fanden Tests der Herstellerfirma an den Simulatoren statt, gefolgt von einer Erprobung vom 19. bis 30. Mai 2025, die von einem Endbericht abgeschlossen worden sind. Nach einer weiteren Musterprüfung bei Virtual Reality Media, a.s. wurden sie für Nutzertests übergeben und befinden sich derzeit bei den slowakischen Streitkräften in der Nutzung.

Slovakia signs G2G agreement with Finland on acquisition of Patria's 8x8 Armoured Modular Vehicles (AMV) XP

Under the G2G Agreement, the Ministry of Defence is slated to take delivery of its first of a total of 76 Patria AMV XPs as early as September 2023. The first eight Patria AMV XPs will be made in Finland, so that employees of the SVK companies involved can learn everything they need to know for the production of the vehicles. The rest of the platforms will be manufactured completely by SVK companies, with the first Slovak-made AMV XP expected to roll out of the assembly line in 2024 and the last one in 2027.
