The deal was negotiated by our Exports & Sales Team of experts specialising in the Government-to-Government export and sale of surplus defence equipment. They ensure economic returns, while extending the operational life of military capabilities and supporting global security.
The Landing Craft Air Cushion (Light) (LCAC(L)) hovercraft can traverse both land and water, offering highly mobile, shallow‑water operational capability for operations such as coastal patrol, humanitarian assistance, and rapid deployment missions.
Griffon Marine Ltd, headquartered in Southampton, helped to refurbish and prepare the hovercraft for delivery through a contract awarded and overseen by our Boats Team.
