Vodochody, April 3, 2025 – Aero has recently completed the shipment of a full set of components for the C-390 Millennium military transport aircraft, manufactured by Embraer. The set includes the wing leading edge, the rear fuselage, a complete set of doors, and the cargo ramp. Over the course of this year, Aero plans to produce a total of eight such component sets. This delivery also includes parts destined for two C-390 Millennium aircraft that will serve with the Czech Army.

Oversized parts—such as the rear fuselage and the cargo ramp—are transported by road to the German port of Hamburg, and then shipped by sea to the port of Santos in Brazil. From there, they travel by road directly to Embraer’s final assembly line in Gavião Peixoto. Conversely, the wing leading edges and doors are transported by road to Weiterstadt, where they are consolidated and then shipped by air from Frankfurt to São Paulo, followed by road transport to the final assembly line.
Aero has been part of the C-390 Millennium program since 2011 and is responsible for the production of the rear fuselage, all doors, the cargo ramp, and the wing leading edges.
