Hier die "Korvetten" in Madkandaloo und Bandar Abbas. Die Schiffe sind mit ca. 60 - 65 m Länge im internationalen Vergleich ziemlich klein.
Iran’s New Missile Corvette Could Reshape IRGC Naval Doctrine

One of the three catmarans that are being built for Iran's naval forces has been launched at a yard on Qeshm island, Maxar satallite imagery taken on 24 July shows.
The vessel is about 70 m long and now has markings showing it has a helicopter flight deck. A second catamaran of the same class that is under construction west of Bandar Abbas was still on land on 24 July and did not have its flight deck markings, while a third was still partially under a shed in Bushehr on 15 July.
A photograph of the catamaran in Qeshm emerged in April showing what could be anti-ship missile launchers integrated either side of its bridge. The yard where it is being built is close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) naval base on the island and was expanded to build the ship.
Analysis
The new class appears to be influenced by Shahid Nazeri: a smaller catamaran that was unveiled by the IRGC Navy in September 2016. This uses the high-aspect-ratio twin-hull (HARTH) concept where the hulls are kept as thin as possible to minimise water resistance, thereby increasing speed and endurance while retaining the stability offered by more conventional catamaran designs. Its deck is also raised higher above the water to reduce the impact of waves.
The new catamarans' hulls are not as thin as Shahid Nazeri's, suggesting their design balances the advantages of the HARTH concept against the need for a stronger structure. Nevertheless the simultaneous construction of three of the vessels reflects a remarkable commitment to the design.
