Ein erstes Video des Seezielflugkörpers "Tsirkon". Die Waffe wurde von der Fregatte "Admiral Gorshkov" (Projekt 22350) aus verschossen und traf ein Ziel über eine Distanz von 450 km bei achtfacher Schallgeschwindigkeit:

Die Fregatte "Admiral Gorshkov" hat gestern einen Hyperschallflugkörper "Tsirkon" vom Weißen Meer aus auf ein Ziel in der Barentsee abgeschossen. Die Entfernung vom Ziel betrug 450 km und die Geschwindigkeit des Flugkörpers lag über Mach 8.

Work on Sarmat ballistic missile nears completion — Putin

MOSCOW, December 17. /TASS/. Work on the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile goes on actively and is now nearing completion, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday.

"Work on the Sarmat proceeds actively, and is now at the final stage. As for Poseidon [an unmanned underwater vehicle - TASS], work goes on well. Work on a missile with a nuclear global-distance system also proceeds as scheduled," he said at his annual news conference.

According to the president, work on other weapon systems that was announced in his state-of-the-nation address also proceeds as scheduled. "Some of them - the Kinzhal and the Peresvet laser weapon - have been put into service," he said.

Flight trials of Russia’s Sarmat ICBM to begin soon — deputy minister

MOSCOW, December 30. /TASS/. Flight trials of Russia’s Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) will begin in the near future, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko said in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.

"By now, ejection tests of the Sarmat ICBM have already been completed with a positive result. In the near future, we will launch flight trials of this missile system," he said.

During a Russian Defense Ministry board meeting on December 21, Russian Defense Minister Army Gen. Sergei Shoigu said the ministry planned to create a testing range for Sarmat flight trials in Siberia’s Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Serial delivery of Tsirkon hypersonic missiles to begin in 2022

"Trials of a missile system with a Tsirkon hypersonic missile proceed successfully. A series of successful Tsirkon launches by the Admiral Gorshkov frigate were carried out in 2020. Their serial deliveries will begin in 2022," the deputy minister said.

The missiles are fired from the 3S-14 universal naval missile launchers installed on Project 22350 frigates and Project 20380 corvettes to fire Kalibr and Oniks missiles, in particular.

Die Aufnahmen sind bei einer gemeinsamen Übung der russischen Luftwaffe und Marine über dem Mittelmeer entstanden. Dazu wurden u.a. zwei MiG-31K von russischen Stützpunkten auf den Militärflugplatz Khmeimim in Syrien verlegt.
