Folding-Road Laying System FSG
The Folding-Road Laying System FSG
ensures the mobility in difficult terrain. Folding-Roads can be used
as an access road to pionier bridges, for crossing shallow rivers or
to reinforce damaged roads.
A folding-road consists of 18 elements with a total length of 50 meters.
The vehicle to lay out and to recover the road is called Folding-Road
Laying System.
In 2006 the Austrian Armed Forces bought 13 nearly new systems from
the German Bundeswehr. The vehicles are still painted in the german
color sheme.
