The Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer is a single engine training aircraft
fully certificated for aerobatics. It is used for basic and advanced
training courses. In an additional role the PC-7 is used for air policing
tasks during major events and state visits, were it is better suited
to intercept slow moving aircraft than jet planes. For tactical missions
the aircraft can be armed with machine gun- and missile pods.
