Unsere Linksammlung zum 80. Jahrestag.<\/strong>
\nAm 12. M\u00e4rz 1938 marschiert die Deutsche Wehrmacht in \u00d6sterreich ein. Das „Unternehmen Otto“, die milit\u00e4rische Inbesitznahme, war nicht der Anfang vom Ende der 1. Republik, sondern besiegelte nur die Eingliederung \u00d6sterreichs in das Deutsche Reich.
\nPolitisch war der Weg geebnet. Auch das Bundesheer der 1. Republik wurde bereits von den Nationalsozialisten Arthur Sey\u00df-Inquart (Innen- und Sicherheitsminister) und Franz B\u00f6hme (Generalstabschef) kontrolliert und kam nicht zum Einsatz.<\/p>\n

\nDas Bundesheer hatte ab 1935 gegen einen deutschen Angriff den „Jansa-Plan“ entwickelt. Dass man dennoch verlieren w\u00fcrde, nahm man an, hoffte aber auf Hilfe Italiens. Letztlich behinderten weder der Duce noch \u00d6sterreichs Milit\u00e4r den Einmarsch am 12. M\u00e4rz 1938.
