The qualification of HForce for use on the H145M is planned for 2018.

“The next steps prior to qualification include a firing campaign, testing the whole fire mission spectrum through guns, cannons and rockets in Hungary as well as tests on the laser-guided rockets in Sweden before the end of the year,” said Jean-Luc André, HForce Program Manager at Airbus Helicopters. “As the launch customer for the H145M with the HForce weapon system, the Republic of Serbia has ordered nine H145M aircraft, including four attack helicopters equipped with HForce”, he added.

Serbia kupuje H145M

An agreement on this was signed on Wednesday in Belgrade. Its value and delivery has not been made public. It is only known that the Ministry of Defence of Serbia has bought 6 H145M for Vazduhoplovstva i protivvazdušnoj Odbrana (VPO, air force and air defense). 3 consecutive rotorcraft of this type have been acquired by the Interior Ministry, the helicopter unit subordinated to it, stationed at the international airport Nikola Tesla in Belgrade.

According to unconfirmed information 4 consecutive H145M are delivered to the Serbs by Germany. This will increase the fleet of the VPO to 10 helicopters of this type. According to the plans of Belgrade, they are to be used for military and police (combat and anti terrorism, observation and surveillance of borders, transport of passengers and cargo, search and rescue and medical evacuation).

Serbia plans to procure Pasars-16 Terminator mobile hybrid air defence system (18. Juli 2018)
Serbia test-fired its new Pasars-16 Terminator 6x6 mobile hybrid air defence system in the Pasuljanske Livade training area on 11 July.

The firing of the 40 mm Bofors gun was part of testing ahead of the system being introduced into the Serbian Army by the end of 2018, Nenad Miloradovic, assistant minister for material resources in the Serbian Ministry of Defence, said.

During the testing, Pasars-16 was coupled with an M85 Zirafa air defence radar – an Ericsson Giraffe M75 radar mounted on a Yugoslav-made FAP2026 truck – with command and control capabilities. The Serbian Air Force and Air Defence’s 98th Air Brigade participated in the test-firing.

President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, accompanied by Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin, has attended the test flight of two MiG-29 jets procured from the Russian Federation, at the Batajnica airbase, today.
We have seen the strong and mighty wings of Serbia for the first time – the first two we got from Russia that are introduced into service today, for the overhaul and upgrade of which we paid”.

- I also went to see the six additional MIG-29s, on which Russian and Serbian experts work together, so we will have eight MIG-29 planes that will fly for the first time in the military parade taking place at the beginning of November. We will keep them in hangars, but you will see eight Serbian pilots that will fly in Serbian MIG-29s in just two months – President Vučić emphasized.
I am grateful to Minister Vulin, General Diković, and to all of them, because when I took office as defence minister, we had one MIG-29 under overhaul, never more than one, and today we have three 29s in the resource. In only ten days we will have six of them, and in two months we will have nine. At least eight will fly at the beginning of November at the big parade we are organising.
Within 12 to 14 months, we paid and we will get seven helicopters of which four Mi-35s, which are among the world's best helicopters, fascinating machines doing an extraordinary job in defending the country. We are going to take another three Mi-17s, another two Mi-17s that we jointly showed last year are coming, as well as nine H-145s.

Serbia reportedly agrees UCAV deal with China
Serbia has reportedly agreed to procure unmanned combat air vehicles (UCAVs) from China in a package that also includes technology transfers and localised production.

Serbian news agencies on 18 September quoted the country’s deputy defence minister, Nenad Miloradovic – who is visiting China with Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic – as saying that the acquisition features six UCAV systems, with five of them produced in Serbia.

Miloradovic said that China has agreed to transfer technologies to Serbian industry to facilitate local production and the integration of optical-electronic systems. The procurement also includes the supply of UCAV ground control systems.

The programme has not been officially confirmed by either government.

Serbien erhält erste von neun H145M (VIDEO)

Bild
