ASELSAN has successfully completed factory acceptance tests for its SMASH 200/30 Remote Controlled Stabilized Weapon System, set to be integrated on the Slovenian Navy’s Triglav patrol boat. This first export to Slovenia highlights ASELSAN’s expanding presence in the region.
ASELSAN’s, SMASH 200/30 delivers effective strike performance and operational reliability, as confirmed during the recent factory acceptance tests in Slovenia. Its compatibility with different platforms, ease of use, and precision make it a preferred choice for end users across diverse geographies.
Equipped with a 30 mm gun, integrated TV and thermal cameras with automatic target tracking, dual-ammunition capability, and advanced integration with ship sensors, SMASH 200/30 combines operational flexibility with an advanced user interface, enabling effective engagement against asymmetric threats.

Slovenian Navy's Triglav Patrol Ship Undergoes Major Updates in Šibenik

https://www.pannaplus.com/projects/slov ... in-sibenikPanna plus is supplying the navigation and communication systems for the Slovenian Navy's largest ship, multi-purpose patrol ship Triglav. It was announced last year, that the ship would undergo a major update, to extend its service life and capabilities. Since then, the vessel has already finished the first stage of upgrades in Desan, Turkey.
Now, Triglav is at the Iskra Shipyard in Šibenik, going through further upgrades. Panna Plus and its partner Hensoldt were awarded the contract for supplying the advanced communication and navigation systems that are being fitted to the ship along with a Lyncea combat management system and the associated sensors and effectors.

Under a contract awarded to Hensoldt and its local partner Panna Plus for the upgrade programme, Hensoldt said it will equip the vessel with the latest version of its Lyncea CMS, which features a new human machine interface (HMI) that makes it more intuitive and ergonomic for operators.
The scope of supply also includes an L22 tactical datalink to increase interoperability with NATO forces, and the installation and integration of several new sensors and effectors from the international Hensoldt Group, including Hensoldt UK's Kelvin Hughes Mk11 SharpEye surface search radar, an identification, friend or foe (IFF) LTR 400 lightweight transponder, and a GMJ9 jammer system.
Under separate contracts announced in February 2024 by the Slovenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Triglav's modernisation programme, Turkish shipyard Desan is responsible for the repair and upgrade of the vessel's existing systems, including the fire extinguishing system, the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), platform management system, video surveillance system, and vessel openings control system.
Croatian shipyard Iskra, meanwhile, has been contracted to carry out the ship's rearmament, which will include installation of a new 30 mm naval cannon on the ship.
Upgrade work on Triglav began in April 2024 and is scheduled to last 24 months, with a view to the ship returning to service in 2026.
