Im Projekt "Demonstrator Autonom Mångfunktionell Markplattform" sollen 2024-2026 insgesamt vier unterschiedliche UGVs beschafft werden. Vom Rheinmetall MissionMaster werden zwei Stück angekauft und 2024-2025 geliefert.

IDV is excited to share that FMV, The Swedish Defence Material Administration, has acquired the VIKING Uncrewed Ground Vehicle (UGV). The VIKING UGV will play a crucial role in FMV’s Demonstrator Autonom Mångfunktionell Markplattform (DAMM) / Autonomous Multifunctional Ground Vehicle Demonstrator Programme.

In addition to the UGV, FMV has partnered with IDV for our Command and Control Basestation, along with ongoing technical support for integration and upgrades throughout the programme.

It was an honour to host representatives from FMV and FOI Sweden this month for operator training with their new VIKING UGV.
The UGV will now be shipped onwards Sweden for an exciting programme of experimentation and trials.
