Was mir auffällt:
Die australischen und jetzt auch die brit. Boxer sind alle mit diesen "Heckstaukästen" ausgerüstet.
Eine wie ich finde sinnvolle Ergänzung der Verstaumöglickeiten.
An den deutschen findet man diese nicht, wieso eigentlich nicht?

MIPS open architecture to be fitted to land platforms to enable multiple sensors to all talk to one another, giving operators more control and communications through various operational sensors. A briefing took place at Wellington Barracks in London on the 17 July 2023, showcasing the latest Science & Technology work underway within Defence.

  Leonardo, leading a cross-UK team of science and technology experts, has successfully trialled a high-tech new protection system approach for Army vehicles such as tanks and armoured personnel carriers. Called MIPS (Modular Integration Protection System), the new approach brings together layers of electronic and physical protection technologies to equip vehicle crews with a formidable defensive shield. The team included Abstract Solutions, CGI, Frazer-Nash, Lockheed Martin UK, RBSL, Roke and Ultra Electronics.

Crossbow, our 120mm turreted mortar can be readily integrated in the mission module with minimal protrusion below the roof-line. It is fully automatic, operated by a single crew member, and can also be fired remotely.
