Description:

Danish Ministry of Defence Logistic and Acqusition Organisation (DALO) is planning a tender cf. the Defence and Security act for verssatile reconnaissance vehicles. The tender will cover a acquisition framwork agreement which default will have a duration of 7 years, and a sustainment framework agreement which default will have a duration of 7 years but additional periode of duration will be considered. DALO estimate to total value of the agreement to be 200.000.000 DKK.

Additional information:

The versatile reconnaissance vehicle should be mobile, motorized, and suitable for operation in challenging terrains. It is expected to function as a modern platform independently, without relying on logistics and support from other units. Potential tenderers (the market) are encuarge to reply DALO's Request For Information (RFI) which is attached when using the permalink stated in this notice - the Ethics platform. When the potential tenderer up-load their reply to the RFI, the tenderer is not biased or excluded to participate in the up comming tender or any other tender published by DALO. DALO emphazies that DALO is not obliged by the information that the respondents provide in any future tender issued by DALO. The information received is only used for preparing the up comming tender. Please note that DALO prefer responds not later than 18. february 2024.

The market research will focus on the supplier's comprehension of how the vehicle could be utilized operationally and functionally within the Danish defense.

The reconnaissance concept is based on the NATO Capability Code for light ground reconnaissance. This implies that the concept should be built upon a light, unarmored, and open vehicle, considered as a versatile platform capable of handling various tasks. The vehicle should be constructed modularly to adapt to specific task solutions.

Intelligence and Surveillance:

Reconnaissance units gather information from various sources, including electronic intelligence, which involves monitoring enemy communication and electronic signatures. Additionally, they employ human intelligence, where operators acquire information by interacting with local sources.

Reconnaissance units need to be able to monitor enemy activities over an extended period. This requires the ability to incorporate and integrate supporting equipment such as sensors, drones, etc.

During reconnaissance, information is collected using binoculars, night vision equipment, drones, and other technological aids.

What options exist for integrating communication tools (radio systems, etc.) into the vehicle? And how could this be done most advantageously??

Firepower Deployment:

The vehicle should provide space and the ability to integrate weapons such as light machine guns, grenade launchers, anti-tank weaponry, weapon mounts for personal firearms, mortars, etc.
