In Tschechien läuft bei Tatra Defence Vehicle (TDV) die Entwicklung des PANDUR II 8x8 EVO. Offensichtlich zumindest sehr inspiriert vom PANDUR EVO des Bundesheeres. Hier mit Elbit UT-30 Mk.2 mit 30 mm Mk.44 Bushmaster II , 7,62 MG und 2x Spike-LR/LR2 Lenkwaffen.

Schaut schon sehr vielversprechend aus. Mit SPIKE auch top! Also in Anlehnung an den EVO bin ich der Meinung, dass doch ein neuer Pandur II 8x8 auch in Simmering möglich wäre. Kann mir keiner einreden, dass das Bundesheer und viele andere auch daran kein Interesse hätten. Der ist doch echt gelungen!

Die Wanne ist weitgehend identisch zum PANDUR EVO - sie wurde nur verlängert und an der Oberseite leicht verändert (sieht man beim Motorraum):

TDV develops new Pandur II 8×8 EVO

It will be based on the experience of the older Czech Pandur IIs, the improved KOVS and KOVVŠ command and communications variants, which feature better ballistic protection, as well as partly on the Pandur EVO 6×6 vehicle supplied to the Austrian Army by General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) Steyr, with which TDV has a strategic partnership.

The Pandur II 8x8 EVO will feature a new hull with a higher level of ballistic and mine protection, weigh up to 25 tonnes - 4.2 tonnes more than the standard Pandur II 8x8 infantry fighting vehicle - with new armament and other improvements. Better protection and comfort for three crew and seven occupants will be provided by an enhanced hull, including a completely new underbody design; relocation of fuel tanks to a safer location; a new nuclear biological and chemical protection system whose filters can be changed from outside the vehicle; and improved air conditioning. Despite the increase in vehicle weight due to the new hull and turret, mobility will not be compromised and be provided by the Cummins ISL 540 engine, with an output of 405 kW (compared with 335,6 kW of the standard Pandur II 8x8 CZ's Cummins ISLe 450), a maximum torque of 1,900 N m at 1,400 rpm, and a ZF Ecomat 6 HO 902 S six-speed automatic transmission.

Expected to be available in late 2024, the prototype will be equipped with an Ebit Systems UT30MK2 remote-controlled weapon station (RCWS) with STANAG 4569 Level 2 ballistic protection with an electrically stabilised Bushmaster II MK44 30 mm cannon, 7.62 mm co-axial machine gun, and an extendable launcher for two Spike LR/LR2 anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs).

Jedenfalls sieht es nicht nach einer eigenständigen tschechischen Entwicklung aus. Wäre interessant, in wie weit PANDUR II 8x8 EVO und PANDUR EVO 6x6 eine weitgehend identische Logistikschiene haben und ob ein Mix eine überlegenswerte Option wäre.

Wäre ein unbemannter Elbit-Turm beim Evo 6x6 möglich (Gewicht)?
Als Aufklärer oder Feuerunterstützung?
Die aufgessene Infantrie muss man sich natürlich wegdenken...

Was es als Konzept auf dem EVO 6x6 an schwereren Türmen schon gibt sind:

Und wie viele Personen noch aufgesessen sind hängt natürlich von verschiedenen Faktoren ab. Z.B. konkretes Modell und Einbau der Steuerkonsolen, Munition und Lenkwaffen zum Nachladen usw. Im Mannschaftstransportpanzer gibt es ja auch eine Bediener-Station für den Schützen.

Tschechien plant die Neuausstattung des 44. lehký motorizovaný prapor Jindřichův Hradec (44. lmopr; Struktur: Štáb praporu/Bataillonsstab, 1. motorizovaná rota/1. motorisierte Kompanie, 2. motorizovaná rota/2. motorisierte Kompanie, 3. motorizovaná rota/3. motorisierte Kompanie, Rota zbraní/Infanteriekompanie, Velitelská rota/Aufklärungskompanie, Rota logistiky/Logistikkompanie, Obvaziště/Sanitätsszug, Prvek posádkové podpory/Mannschaftsunterstützungselement) mit einem Radschützenpanzer. Darüber hinaus sollen die Pandur II modernisiert und die obsoleten 120 mm-Granatwerfer bei den mechanisierten Bataillonen ersetzt werden. Sowohl die Modernisierung des Pandur II (Erhöhung des ballistischen Schutzes und Verbesserung von Feuerkraft, Mobilität und Führungsfähigkeit), als auch die Einführung des neuen Radschützenpanzers sollen 2027 bis 2029 umgesetzt werden. Die neuen Granatwerferträger sollen in einer Stückzahl von 74 Fahrzeugen von 2031 bis 2035 zulaufen:
