LÁZARO SANTOS D. Javier: Vehículos espécificos del observador avanzado, in: Memorial de Artillería (Diciembre 2019), p. 47-58
Today, The Spanish Defence Minister, Margarita Robles, visited the factory of Trubia (Asturias) to monitor first-hand the development on the #VCR 8x8 Program. Margarita Robles pointed out that "we are taking a very important step forward for the Spanish Army, for Spanish industry and for the industry of Asturias". The Minister also wanted to extend a word of thanks to the company and its employees for their involvement in the project. #GDELS #Defense #Piranha
The Spanish Government has authorized the Agreement to approve the contract for the acquisition of logistic and operational elements of Pizarro Phase II ( #ASCOD in its international version). This contract has an estimated value of 17.3 million euros for both, the Infantry Combat Variant (VCI), as well as the Engineering Combat variant, named Castor by the Spanish Army
The #ASCOD Family of Vehicles is currently comprised of the Spanish #PIZARRO, the Austrian #ULAN, and the British #AJAX.
