Cazaux/France, 19 March 2025 - The first #MAST-F (#AKERON LP) boosted missile firing from a #Tiger Test Bed Helicopter has been successfully performed at the French DGA - Direction générale de l'armement Trial Centre at #Cazaux (#DGA/Essais en Vol). This prototype #missile was equipped with a booster and a telemetry system to collect a large amount of data. This trial was carried out especially in order to assess the behaviour of the missile and to confirm the safe missile separation phase in presence of helicopter perturbations.

L’Espagne et l’Italie, par exemple, ont d’ores et déjà retenu le nouveau lanceur FZ606 pour armer leurs futurs hélicoptères d’attaque Tigre rénové et AW249.
