FMV und SAAB haben einen Vertrag über den Demonstrator eines mobiles Fliegerabwehrsystems, Mobile Short-Range Air Defence (MSHORAD) unterzeichnet. Dieser Demonstrator dient dem Sammeln von Erfahrungen in Vorbereitung für die künftige Beschaffung eines mobilen Fliegerabwehrsystems für das Heer.
Als MSHORAD wird eine Lafette für drei RBS-70 NG (Robotsystem 70D) in Bandvagn 410 (BvS10) integriert. Ein weiterer BvS10, der als LvNorr bezeichnet wird, dient als Sensorträger mit dem SAAB Giraffe 1X.
Das neue System, das zur Erprobung dienen soll, wird ab 2025 geliefert:

The command and control and the sensor systems continue to build on previous deliveries to FMV to strengthen the Swedish ground-based air defence. In addition to the command-and-control system (LSS Lv) and the Giraffe 1X radar, the order consists of weapon system integration, studies and spare parts.
The contract also includes an integration study to complement the ground-based air defence system for brigades with Giraffe AMB radar for medium-range surveillance.
Schweden komplettiert das 2025 in Auftrag gegebene Fliegerabwehrsystem für die Brigadeebene, das beim Norbottens regemente I 9 und beim Skaraborgs regemente P 4 eingeführt wird und aus Lenkwaffenwerfern IRIS-T SLS auf BvS10, Radarsystemen SAAB Giraffe 1X, Führungsfahrzeugen für Zugskommandanten und Führungsfahrzeugen für Kompaniekommandanten besteht, mit zusätzlichen Radarsystemen des Typs SAAB Giraffe AMB (inkl. Führungssystem und Ersatzteilpaket) im Wert von umgerechnet 110,7 Mio. EUR:

Saab has received an order from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for sensors and command-and-control systems for a ground-based air defence system (GBAD) solution for the Swedish Army brigades. The order value is approximately SEK 1.2 billion. Deliveries will take place between 2029 and 2030.

Nammo secures programmable ammunition order from Sweden
Nammo Sweden AB has signed a seven-year framework agreement with Sweden and received the first call-off order for its advanced 30mm x 113 PABEX (Programmable AirBurst EXplosive) and 40mm L/70 PABEX ammunition.
Designed to counter a wide range of modern threats, the PABEX ammunition combines flexibility and precision to effectively engage drones, missiles, helicopters, as well as surface and ground targets.
The ammunition will primarily be integrated into the Swedish Armed Forces’ Trackfire and TRIDON Mk2 air defense systems. In addition, existing CV90 vehicles equipped with 40mm guns will be able to employ the 40mm L/70 PABEX round, providing enhanced capability against a broad spectrum of aerial threats.
