Das polnische Verteidigungsministerium und die koreanische DAPA haben am 6. März eine Besprechung abgehalten, bei der es u.a. um die Bestellung einer weiteren Tranche K2 und ihre Produktion in Polen ging (Vermutlich ist damit der eigentlich schon für November 2024 geplante Vertragsabschluss zum Kauf von 820 K2PL gemeint.):

NEWS: Pearson Engineering to supply 99 engineering capability kits to Polish Main Battle Tanks via U.S. Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Office.

The new M1A2 SEP V3 Main Battle Tanks, set to be delivered in 2025 to the Polish Armed Forces via U.S. FMS, will be equipped with track width mine ploughs and combat dozer blades.

The engineering capability will be integrated via Pearson Engineering’s innovative SLICE vehicle interface kit which is designed to enable a fighting vehicle to rapidly accept and operate a wide range of Front-End Equipment (FEE) to facilitate independent battlefield manoeuvre.
