The Spanish Army marks a milestone by deploying, for the first time, the #VCZAP "Castor" Combat Engineering Vehicle in international operations after the recent delivery by GDELS Santa Bárbara Sistemas.

The international debut will take place at the Combat Training Center in Drawsko Pomorskie (Poland) held on the occasion of the multinational exercise #EURETEX2024 organized by the HQ Eurocorps on a biannual basis.

The group sent to Poland includes two units of the #VCZAP #Castor, of the #Pizarro / #ASCOD family, vehicle belonging to the XII Engineering Combat Battalion of the “Guadarrama” Brigade, one of the first units of the Spanish Armed Forces to have received this innovative and advanced system for the vanguard military units of engineers and sappers.
