We had the honor of welcoming Latvian Defense Minister Andris Sprüds to the GDELS Santa Bárbara Sistemas facilities in Trubia (Asturias), where the 84 units of the #HUNTER armored vehicle for the Latvian government are being produced.
During his visit, accompanied by Alejandro Page, VP and managing director of GDELS Santa Bárbara Sistemas, he was able to see first-hand the progress made in the production of this vehicle based on the ASCOD platform.

Am 27. November hat ein Treffen der ASCOD User Group, unter Beteiligung von Delegationen aus Lettland, Spanien, Österreich und Großbritannien, am Militärstützpunkt "Ādaži" stattgefunden. Dabei wurde zwischen Lettland, Spanien und Österreich eine Absichtserklärung zur Zusammenarbeit und Integration im Bereich der ASCOD-Schützenpanzers unterzeichnet. Lettland wird den ersten ASCOD im Jahr 2027 erhalten.
D.h. das Fahrzeug unten ist keines für die lettische Armee (Wäre auch erstaunlich - von der roh geschweißten Wanne bis zum fertig integrierten Schützenpanzer in vier Wochen ...):

After more than 10 years of collaboration on international contracts, Piedrafita is supplying GDELS Santa Bárbara Sistemas with the suspension system for the Hunter vehicle, whose first units will be delivered this spring to Latvia-just one year after the first batch was awarded.
The first units of the system have already been delivered and are currently undergoing integration at the Trubia facility.
