The agreement was signed by Major General Artur Kuptel, Head of the Armament Agency, Jae-il Son, President and CEO of Hanwha Aerospace, and Piotr Wojciechowski, President of the WB Group. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence Paweł Bejda, a representative of the President of the Republic of Korea – Hoon-sik Kang, Chief of Staff to the President, Hyun-jong Kim, First Deputy Director for National Security, Young-cheol Lee, Minister of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, and Jun-yeol Tae, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Poland.

Hanwha Aerospace and Poland’s Armament Agency signed a sublicence agreement on the first day of MSPO 2026 in Kielce, enabling the transfer of technical documentation and production rights for selected Homar-K launcher components.
Under the next phase of localisation, more than 600 selected spare parts could be produced in Poland for the Polish Armed Forces and other users of the K239 Chunmoo system.
The plan also includes developing and producing transport and launch containers for Polish-made 122 mm rockets, allowing Homar-K to make greater use of Poland’s existing industrial capabilities and domestically produced ammunition.
On the sidelines of the K9 User Club, Hanwha Aerospace hosted the first Chunmoo User Workshop, bringing together Chunmoo users ahead of the formal launch of the Chunmoo User Club in 2027.
