Gab es Überlegungen für nen Evo mit Iron Fist. Oder denkt ihr das ist kein Thema weil wir keine Evos mit 30mm bekommen - also direkte Frontfagrzeuge. Dann ggf. für Ulan Evo?

Machbar ist es bestimmt. Der Energiebedarf von Iron Fist Light-Decoupled ist mit einer Dauerleistung von 610 W und Spitzen von höchstens 820 W signifikant niedriger als jener von TROPHY VPS (durchschnittlich 980 W; Spitze: 3750 W). Die Lichtmaschine des EVO hat mehr als ausreichend Leistung dafür. Ich habe aber meine Zweifel, ob es Bedarf zur Integration in einen leichten MTPz wie den Pandur EVO gibt.

P.S.: "Stub cases" für Granaten, die von Hinterladern verschossen werden, sind international üblich. Kommt so auch beim "Crossbow":

The introduction of a stub case revolutionised the mortar

In 1995, Patria initiated collaboration with Swedish Hägglunds to bring the 120mm mortar into the modern era. The result was AMOS (Advanced Mortar System), a twin-barrelled system designed for mounting on a vehicle. The first version represented the traditional muzzle-loaded design. Patria was responsible for the development of the weapon and Hägglunds for the turret with its auxiliary systems. The breech loading mortar became possible after Patria developed a stub case solution. As its name suggests, it is short, in other words, a mere stub. When the stub case is attached to the tail of the mortar grenade, the mortar can be equipped with a vertical sliding breech block, turning it into a breech-loaded weapon. After the weapon is fired, the stub case is ejected into a collector mounted on the vehicle. Due to its breech loading capacity the turret-mounted mortar is capable of firing also at low elevation angles and is even suitable for direct fire, providing possibilities to use the mortar against a variety of targets. The turret-mounted system has a recoil system, which reduces the recoil forces in the vehicle. After a fire control system and a semi-automatic loading was added to the system in the year 1997, the AMOS TD was born.

PANDUR EVO

In engem Zusammenhang damit steht die ebenfalls 2024 finalisierte Beschaffung des "Radpanzers" Pandur Evo Batch 4. Beide
großen Vorhaben sind auf das Engste miteinander verwoben, weil alle zwölf Varianten des Pandur Evo ebenso wie hinkünftig jedes andere geschützte Fahrzeug der Landstreitkräfte mit dem BMS ausgestattet werden. In vielen dieser Fahrzeuge sind Sensor- und Waffeneinsatzsysteme zu implementieren und mit dem BMS/FüIS in einem Verbund "Aufklärung-Führung-Wirkung" zusammenzuschließen. Ziel dieser technisch und organisatorisch herausfordernden Integration hochmobiler IKT-Services ist die militärisch unbedingt notwendige, deutliche Verkürzung der Dauer "Sensor to Shooter" und generell die Verbesserung der Lagebilder auf allen Führungsebenen.
