Second shipment of JLTVs arrives in Lithuania 
The second shipment of the 50 units of the JLTV Joint Light Tactical Vehicle was delivered to the Lithuanian Armed Forces Depot Service in Mumaičiai, Šiauliai district, earlier this week. In total, 200 JLTVs will be delivered to the Lithuanian Armed Forces as agreed in the contract between the Ministry of National Defence of Lithuania and the United States Government in 2019. The Ministry of National Defence signed a supplement of the contract additionally in October this year to acquire 300 more units of the JLTV which will arrive by the end of 2025.
The delivered JLTV reached the Port of Hamburg in Germany from the Port of Baltimore in the U.S. and the, Lithuania. Oshkosh Defense personnel is currently working at Mumaičiai getting ready the JLTV for operation and assembling the OGPK (Objective Gunners Protection Kit) turrets. The n the vehicles will be passed into the responsibility of the Lithuanian Armed Forces.

The first shipment including 50 JLTVs arrived in Lithuania last summer and is now successfully used by the Lithuanian military. The JLTVs will be assigned to battalions of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Iron Wolf and Griffin Brigades, the national Rapid Response Force being a matter of priority.

Third shipment of Joint Light Tactical Vehicles JLTV arrived in Lithuania
The third batch of the JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle) with 50 new vehicles for the Lithuanian Armed Forces was delivered to Lithuania last week.

The latest shipment is delivered on the basis of the agreement signed in 2019 between the Ministry of National Defence and the Government of the United States on acquisition of 200 JLTVs.

With the new additional, the Lithuanian Armed Forces will possess the total of 150 vehicles.

The procurement contract will be implemented in full by the end of the year with all 200 JLTVs delivered to Lithuania. Next year, implementation of the second contract signed in 2022 covering acquisition of 300 additional vehicles from Oshkosh Defense will begin. When that is finished, the Lithuanian Armed Forces will operate the total of 500 JLTVs.

First stage of JLTV acquisition completed: all armored vehicles delivered to Lithuania
The Ministry of National Defence has completed the first stage of JLTV (Joint Light Tactical Vehicle) acquisition: the last shipment of vehicles arrived in Lithuania late Friday night.

The batch of 50 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles was delivered to Lithuania as the finishing stroke of the contract on acquisition of 200 pieces of JLTV signed by the Ministry of National Defence and the U.S. Government in 2019.
Next year, the second stage or implementation of the 2022 contract with the U.S. Oshkosh Defense company begins which will add another 300 JLTVs to the Lithuanian Armed Forces strength. When it is completed, the Lithuanian Armed Forces will operate the total of 500 Joint Light Tactical Vehicles.

Another shipment of world’s most advanced all-terrain vehicles strengthen the Lithuanian Armed Forces
The Ministry of National Defence has begun the second stage of JLTV Joint Light Tactical Vehicle acquisition. The first shipment of the second stage including 35 JLTVs arrived in Lithuania this week.
